Incoming students experience King's Quest for Significance, curriculum that broadens understanding of the world and our place in it. As part of the study, each year the freshman class travels to Washington, D.C. to visit offices of state, national museums, art galleries and various public organizations. Participants are challenged to explore their views on the arts, religion, varying cultures and issues facing humankind. The curriculum also helps students examine career options and begin working toward a degree in their chosen areas. |
